Cyantific — Obey/Bounce It record sleeve
The title of the Obey single was inspired by the cult 1980's B-movie 'They Live', in which the world is controlled through hidden messages in the media. The sleeve and titles for the record were designed to suggest the transmission of subliminal messages broadcast on analogue TVs.
On the reverse and centres, the typography is sinisterly punched out of black to reveal the transmission graphic beneath.
Cyantific — Mirador/Defect record sleeve
For Cyantific's 3rd independent release the idea was to take the artwork in a 1990's direction, with the design referencing colours, shapes, and typography typical of dance music releases of the period.
The first three releases as a series. All prominently featured the Cyantific logo.
